Banana Zebrina Rojo, Blood Leaf, Red Leaf. This outstanding banana features large, variegated leaves with red splashes on top, burgundy undersides, and reddish stems giving rise to the name Blood Leaf Banana. It shows up well against solid green companion plants, and performs well in containers. It will overwinter nicely in colder climates and produces small red fruit.
The leaves are paddle-shaped and have green and red mottling on top, with a solid maroon color on the bottom. When grown in a container, the plant can be kept to a height of 4-6 ft, but can grow to be 5-8 ft tall when planted in the ground. The plant can be used as a focal point or in mass plantings in a garden, or grown in a container. It can also provide a backdrop for other smaller tropical plants.

This is a showy, natural green sport (reversion) from the red Bordelon. It grows the same way and will flower and set fruit, but without the red striping. Think of it as Bordelons green twin - still ornamental, just in a more classic banana look. Very vigorous and hardy plant.

Costus igneus, Chamaecostus cuspidatus - Insulin Plant, Fiery Costus, Spiral Flag.
It is known as the insulin plant because it may help lower glucose levels for some people with diabetes. Researchers believe it can help lower blood sugar level. The plant has large, fleshy, smooth turmeric-like spiral leaves that are dark green on top with light purple undersides. The undersides of these large, smooth, dark green leaves have light purple shade. The leaves are spirally arranged around the stem, forming attractive, arching clumps arising from underground rootstocks. The maximum height of these plants is about two feet. The flowers are orange in color, appear to be cone-like heads at the tips of branches. Flowering occurs during the warm months.

The Hong Kong Guava which was created in Hawaii from a seed grown guava in Hong Kong, features a large, round fruit which can get between 6 to 8 ounces in weight. Jack-edak is a highly recommended variety grown in TopTropicals garden from a seedling of Cheena (Jackfruit x Chempedak) that fruited for us within 3 years from planting. The fruit (20-25 inches size) is probably the best we ever tasted! It is super sweet, crunchy and has a rich, pleasant, excellent flavor. It has very little latex which makes it easy to handle when cutting up. The tree produces at the very base of the trunk, so you can prune it as short as you want. Our tree survived light frosts as well as 48 hours of 3ft flooding, with no damage!

A new exciting hybrid of Jasmine sambac Grand Duke Supreme, it combines benefits of large, triple flowers with a compact, bushy growth habit! What an amazing gift for every jasmine lover. Monstera adansonii (friedrichsthalii) hybrid, possibly with M. obliqua. Window Leaf. An unusual form of Monstera with smaller leaves that have many holes. Makes an interesting indoor specimen. This is a hybrid variety. There are many hybrids in cultivation between Monstera adansonii, Monstera obliqua, Monstera friedrichsthalii.
