Nishikawa avocado originated in Hawaii, with B-type flowers. It has a very rich, creamy, nut flavor with good oil content. This variety likes Florida climate.

Banana Zebrina Rojo, Blood Leaf, Red Leaf. This outstanding banana features large, variegated leaves with red splashes on top, burgundy undersides, and reddish stems giving rise to the name Blood Leaf Banana. It shows up well against solid green companion plants, and performs well in containers. It will overwinter nicely in colder climates and produces small red fruit.
The leaves are paddle-shaped and have green and red mottling on top, with a solid maroon color on the bottom. When grown in a container, the plant can be kept to a height of 4-6 ft, but can grow to be 5-8 ft tall when planted in the ground. Produces wonderful tasting fruit as does the others in the Cavendish sub-group. A vigorous grower with wide green leaves. One of the more common grown varieties in the USA. This particular cultivar has found great flavor in Florida as a backyard banana because of its ability to reliably produce fruit with a minimum of care by the homeowner. Cavendish are the most common variety of bananas grown by the hobbyist. The variety is very hardy and produces very large heads of fruit. The dwarf variety, which grows to 8 feet, is the most common backyard variety. The fruit is excellent tasting and can remain on the plant until ripe.
