Joey is very cold hardy variety, creamy, and compact - a must-have for growers in cooler zones. Joey is Type B avocado with creamy, nutty flavor and purple-black skin.
Discovered by Joey Ricers in Uvalde, Texas, Joey is a compact egg-shaped avocado that thrives even in cooler climates (surviving the teens to 20s F) and ripens from August to October. The fruit has smooth, thin, purple-black skin and rich, buttery flesh with a slightly nutty taste - perfect for guacamole or slicing.
Growing into a dense, upright tree reaching 10-25 ft, it's self-pollinating but pairs well with a Type A variety to boost yield.

Oro Negro means black gold in Spanish, which is an incredibly appropriate name for this fruit. It originates from Miami-Dade County, Florida and has great potential for dooryard or commercial use. It is likely a Monroe seedling having a similar shape and season, but probably crossed with a Mexican type which would explain the black skin. The flesh is rich and buttery with a creamy texture that is sure not to disappoint.

Cassia javanica - Apple Blossom Tree. Beautiful pink apple-blossom-like flowers. A very showy summer bloomer. Magnificent flowers bloom with petals that change in color from pale red to dark red then paling again. Flowers range from white to pink on the same branch and appear in dense clusters. This tree is in bloom for over three months.

A rare African fruit tree, small to medium size. It is related to Litchi, Longan, and Rambutan. It is much hardier though, tolerates poor soils and is relatively drought tolerant when established.Fruit are not as juicy as Litchi or Longan as they have less pulp and large seed, however they have very pleasant, aromatic sweet flavor resembling pineapple. Governors plum, Madagascar Plum, Batoko palm - is a tropical or subtropical small shrubby tree. It is cultivated in tropical regions as a hedge plant and for its deep red acid fruits resembling small plums. The fruits are about one inch wide and can be eaten fresh or made into preserves. They are sweet and sour, with a texture and flavor similar to a plum. Fruits mature after one to two months from flowering.
