Mauve-blue, unusually lipped flowers are lightly lavender-fragrant! They create a pretty floral display on this shade-loving shrub with its attractive glossy green foliage. Flowers are mauve-blue to purple and the lower petals are ribbed, giving the impression of lips, hence the common name. Five fringed lobes, equal in size, short and rounded, are the flowers distinguishing feature. The numerous flowers produced in summer are attractive to pollinating insects which encourage insect-feeding birds into the garden.
Due to its fast-growing nature, suitability to shady conditions and unusual floral display this species has great horticultural value. It is best to grow it in a shaded to semi-shaded area of the garden.

Wooly Shower Orchid Bush. The actual flowers are tiny and inconspicuous, but they are borne in the center of three showy white 1in long bracts that look like velvety propellers. The bracts gradually change through pink, lavender, and finally gray over the course of several weeks.

Jack-edak is a highly recommended variety grown in TopTropicals garden from a seedling of Cheena (Jackfruit x Chempedak) that fruited for us within 3 years from planting. The fruit (20-25 inches size) is probably the best we ever tasted! It is super sweet, crunchy and has a rich, pleasant, excellent flavor. It has very little latex which makes it easy to handle when cutting up. The tree produces at the very base of the trunk, so you can prune it as short as you want. Our tree survived light frosts as well as 48 hours of 3ft flooding, with no damage!

Rare unique variety - Indonesian Sunset. Flowers are multi-colored with bronze/golden highlights, some gardeners call it Mandarin Allamanda. Very showy flower, slightly fragrant. Large plant, blooming size.

Dorstenia bahiensis is an interesting plant with strange looking receptacles. At maturity, seeds shoot ballistically from the mature flower/fruit heads, and they germinate readily whenever the land on soil or other moist substrate.
A quirky, shade-loving plant with glossy leaves and button-like flower discs. When ripe, those button heads pop their seeds like tiny popcorn, launching them across the yard. Compact at just 6-12 inches, it makes a playful groundcover or a fun conversation piece in a pot.

Wiri Wiri Pepper. A variety from Guyana, the Wiri Wiri pepper is the illustrious gem; hard sought and rarely found. This plant produces good yields of small 1/2" berry shaped hot peppers. Peppers grow upright, are very hot, and turn from green, to orange, to red when mature.

A dwarf papaya perfect for growing in pots. Will grow quickly and produce ripe fruit in as little as one year. In spite of its dwarf habit, the fruit can reach 5-6" in diameter, size of a small melon, large and oval.
