Suvarnarekha mango is also called Suvarna Sundari which in Sanskrit means Golden Beauty. This cultivar originated from Visakapatanam in Andhra Pradesh, India and is one of the most popular Indian varieties. It is also known as Chinnasuvarnarekha, Latsundar in Odisha, and Sundari in northern India. The fruit is ovate-oblong in shape, medium-sized and yellow with a jasper red blush.
