Maui Sunrise is the latest in the Royal Hawaiian elephant ear series from John Cho. This stunner takes white-striped foliage to a whole new level on a 3' tall, green-petioled plant, whose veins are swallowed up by a fast-moving band of white. Compared to its predecessor, Colocasia White Lava, Maui Sunrise develops the white coloration much earlier in the season and it goes much deeper into the leaf veins....truly stunning!
Maui Sunrise is an outstanding addition to the Royal Hawaiian series bearing tropical glossy green foliage, with flamboyant white markings and veins. It has been bred to be happy in full sun, sturdy garden performer, and great container specimen. Disease resistant with fabulous foliage and stem interest, tidy clumping habit would be a welcome addition in any garden or landscape.
