This rare Annona is a species originally brought to us from Costa Rica. We believe it to be a natural hybrid between A. muricata and A. glabra. It is a very ornamental, evergreen, small to medium size tree with waxy, large 4-6 inch leaves, similar to A. muricata, A. montana or Rollinia. Fast growing, forms nice bushy specimen. Flowers are very similar to A. muricata.
It has a large, up to 1 lb fruit, green when unripe, sometimes with gray to brown spots, turning dark yellow to orange on ripening. The pulp is golden to orange when ripe, with strong Pineapple scent, and resembling Jackfruit in texture. Flavor is like the custard apple but with pineapple, papaya, apricot and melon overtones. Note that some people dislike the taste, others find it good.

Adenium Pineapple has rich golden-yellow petals with a soft, ruffled texture, resembling the warm tones of a ripe pineapple. The multi-layered blooms create a lush and tropical feel, making it a vibrant and cheerful addition to your garden. Similar to Adenium Happy Gold (Thong Hassadee).

Sweet variety of Pineapple Guava from Hawaii. Similar to cattley guava, produces yellow fruit, which are much sweeter than red fruit and have citrusy flavor. Fast growing, fruits easily in container, cold hardy, tolerates alkaline and poor soils.

New introduction mango variety. Similar to the Springfels, this very large tree produces very large fruit, but with a sweet pineapple flavor.

Bred for Florida pineapple production by Libby fruit company. At one time there where 240 acres planted in Immokalee, FL prior to Libby selling to Nestle. Florida Special Pineapple produces a golden-fleshed fruit with great flavor. Ripening fruit has shown to take temperatures down to the mid 30's without internal damage.

The variety is much thinner, taller and heavier in weight for its size than a regular golden pineapple; it has a dark green skin even when ripe and a creamy white interior fruit. Planted outside in tropical zones or as a patio/indoor plant in the north, Sugarloaf is a leading worldwide commercial variety. Self fruitful. Large pointed top, smooth leaf with serratted edge. Sugarloaf can can reach 10 pounds! White flesh. Even the core is edible. Also called Kona Sugarloaf. Excellent flavor, pretty plant and fruit.
