Flowers are very beautiful unusual shape, extremely fragrant. Perfect for container, very bushy. Can be also planted in the ground. This pretty plant has been called "Gardenia" for long time. However, analysis shows that it is a horticultural form of Kailarsenia.

Also called "First Love" (sometimes misspelled as YAshioka), this cultivar is one of the darkest green of all gardenias, it has a 3 to 5 inch bloom so perfect, it looks artificial. It was developed by Tadaoki Yoshioka while he lived in Hawaii, and he later brought it to Florida when he moved to Ft. Lauderdale with his family in 1954. The gardenia was named after his daughter, Aimee (Aimee Hironaka), who died in a plane crash in Dallas on August 2, 1985 (Delta Flight 191). Aimee gardenia grows openly and upright and blooms twice a year and slightly later than others. Flower Size 3 - 5".

Very rare Thai endemic plant. It has yellow/golden fragrant flowers similar to Gardenia tubifera kula except that it has erect flower (never pendulus), less number of petals and leaves are slightly velvetish. This gardenia is better suited for alkaline soils (S. Florida) than G. tubifera kula and more cold hardy - during record freeze in 2010 all G. tubifera were damaged or killed at 32F. Gardenia gjellerupii survived without any damages.

With very small leaves, the plant is a compact grower. The blooms are 1 to 2 inches in diameter. The latest of all varieties to bloom, the bloom period continuing into the summer. Outstanding variety for bonsai. Mature size is under 3 ft - very compact and slow growing.

This unique hybrid is very rare and hard to find. The plant has huge double flowers up to 5-6" wide, normally semi-double, but sometimes they come in weird shapes. One of the few cultivated plants native to Polynesia. The intoxicating sweet fragrant blossoms are creamy white works of art. The biggest size gardenia flowers. With its fragrant white flowers of a beautiful shape and very dark green waxy leaves, elongated and pointed, this plant is an amazing addition to a rare fragrant plant collection.
Slow growing, and low growing bush which makes it very valuable for landscape understory. It can be trimmed and maintained in small size 3-4 ft; however if you let it go it will grow into very attractive, dense and bushy specimen up to 5-6 ft tall. Great specimen, accent plant, and container plant.
This rare species of Tabernaemontana is often confused with T. divaricata (commonly known as Pinwheel Jasmine) and T. orientalis (Banana Bush). However this Australian relative of Pinwheen Jasmine plant has its own distinctive features, and flowers look more like T. africana, although smaller size (1" in diameter).

SUNSHINE Pikake (NPK 2-2-4) - eco-friendly concentrated nutrition booster for fragrant flowers. Improves quantity and quality of flowers. Encourages profuse blooming. Increases flower fragrance intensity. Can be used with every watering. For best results, use in combination with Sunshine Honey and Sunshine Superfood plant supplements.
Scientifically-balanced stable formula is organic Amino-acid based and has NO EDTA chelators to eliminate nutrients lockup; it does not affect crop taste. Organic Amino acids greatly enhance stability of all Sunshine boosters and provide excellent absorption of trace elements. Pollinating insects friendly.
DIRECTIONS: Mix 25 ml with 1 gal of water. Can be used with every watering, year around. Compatible with other Sunshine Boosters. Do not mix with other concentrated fertilizers.
