The young leaves on Syngonium White Butterfly are green with white veins. At maturity, the leaf becomes about 80% white with a green border. It is a prolific grower, will vine in long days and if not grown in enough light. White Butterfly is the standard by which all other Syngoniums are measured.

Spectacular bloomer! With foliage resembling an Orchid Cactus (Epiphyllum), Blue Flame is a rare epiphyte from the rainforests of the Amazon jungle. This is a spineless tropical cactus that blooms bright purple flowers. Flowers emerge along the leaf edges from late spring through early summer, and blooms for a couple of weeks. Early springtime flowers are magenta, but summer flowers have the distinctive blue tip on the magenta flower. Mature leaves are about 12" long. Blue Flame prefers a hot, humid environment similar to its jungle habitat. Grow in porous cactus soil or Adenium Mix in partial sun to bright, indirect light.

Hawaiian Low Bearing Solo Papaya Waimanalo - oval, large size yellow fruit with dark yeallow flesh. This is a self-fertile variety. Hearty semi-dwarf papaya tree, bears full size fruits. Low bearing tree makes harvesting easy. Grows wonderfully in Central Florida in both a container or in the ground. Will go from seed to fruit in just one year. Can produce for several years if protected from frosts. Waimanalo has yellow-orange flesh, bears low to the ground initially. It is larger than the popular Sunrise papaya, weighing 22-32 ounces, larger fruit than other Solo papayas, it is grown and marketed almost entirely on Oahu. This papaya was developed in 1960 and was publicly introduced in 1968. In temperate zones it can be cultivated in large pots and taken indoors during the winter. As the name suggests, it starts bearing when very short and continues for a good couple of years.
Papaya does not take shipping well, but recovers easily (do not overwater!).

Miguel Avocado is B Flower, Guatemalan-West Indies Mix. The variety has a decent crop, very productive, averaged 275 lbs per tree. A good looking fruit. Never any disease on the tree and fruit, it stays very clean.

Rhaphidophora hayi, also known as the Shingle Plant (the same common name shared with Monstera dubia), is one of the most unique climbing houseplants you can grow. Wise Cubans jumped into the ocean to escape the Castro regime and tossed in some favorite scions for us to enjoy here in the States. We owe a great debt to poor old Don Miguel Cruz de la Santa Maria Espinoza Sanchez Alvarez Jr. who sadly was lost at sea. His amazing scion wood, wrapped in cellophane and aluminum foil floated over, washing a shore on Miami Beach. His shiny little package was miraculously picked up on the shoreline and immediately grafted and cared for by keen eyed avocado lovers in Miami". Catalina is a very nice mid-season pear shaped fruit that is especially rich and creamy. It is extremely popular variety in South Florida in the Cuban Community.

Fantastic. Very cold hardy variety, supposedly the most most cold hardy of all avocados. Produces green, paper thin skin. The fruit has a creamy texture.
It survived temperatures around 10F near San Antonio, Texas (Zone 8b). Can take temperatures down to 15F for short period of time without significant damage.

Oro Negro means black gold in Spanish, which is an incredibly appropriate name for this fruit. It originates from Miami-Dade County, Florida and has great potential for dooryard or commercial use. It is likely a Monroe seedling having a similar shape and season, but probably crossed with a Mexican type which would explain the black skin. The flesh is rich and buttery with a creamy texture that is sure not to disappoint.

Butter Cup, Cup of gold. Striking vine with glossy leaves and large showy white to yellow flowers.The flowers are truly spectacular, shaped like a chalice, 6-10" long, flaring open to 4-7" across. The five lobes of the corolla are reflexed, and each lobe is marked with a narrow purplish brown ridge on the inside. The flowers start out yellow and turn deeper golden as they age. They are fragrant, especially at night, with a scent reminiscent of coconut. Cup of gold blooms intermittently through the year, but mainly in the winter dry season.

This Spathoglottis is gorgeous. The flower buds come in a range of warm colors, yellow, red, orange and brown in a tie dye like effect. Once the flowers open up, bright yellow sits on all the petals and sepals, outlined in pinkish red. These gorgeous flowers bloom off of a tall inflorescence and stick around for a long period of time, blooming frequently one after the other Spring through Autumn.
