Loquat Gold Nugget has extra large sweet fruit. Very cold hardy fruit tree, easy to grow, drought tolerant, fast growing. Fruit are large size, yellow orange flesh, mildly sweet with very small seed inside. In Florida fruit ripens in late February-March. Fruit is great for eating fresh or making jam.

Sapodilla Hasya - extra large, football-shaped fruit native to Mexico where it is the number one commercial cultivar grown. The fruit is of excellent eating quality and it has a reddish hue throughout the pulp. The tree is a large upright grower, and it is a prolific producer of large fruit that typically weigh thirteen ounces. The fruit ripens from November to June.

This Sapodilla variety we named Thai Brownie was brought by TopTropicals from Thailand in 2005. Fruit is oval, medium size, and very sweet. The tree is a heavy producer.
This plant is a seedling and will take a few years to fruit.

Yuca root, Cassava, Manihot, Tapioca, Manioc. A tropical root vegetable, grown as a shrub in temperate zones of Asia, Africa, the Caribbean, and South America, that is harvested for its root and leaves. High in starch, it is a plant that contains low levels of protein in the root and high levels in the green leaves. At times, it is mistakenly referred to as Yucca, which is a non-edible plant from the Agave plant family.

Super Thai variety is crispy, fruit is very large, over 35-50 lb on average. Thai favorite.

Valencia Pride is a Haden seedling selected and named in Florida in 1941. The tree is a vigorous large grower making it an excellent shade tree complemented by an exceptionally attractive fruit. Relatively cold hardy variety.

Kilo White Guava. The fruit is very large (up to a kilogramm, hence the variety name), round, contains few seeds, and has soft white flesh when ripe. Guava is a good tropical fruit tree not fussy on the soil quality, and produces fruit year after year. It is relatively cold hardy. Requires regular watering. Great container plant, will fruit in a pot in small size.

Van Dyke is an eye catching Florida cultivar which enjoys wide acceptance throughout Europe. The fiberless fruit has a rich sweet flavor that is both spicy and sweet. Its excellent disease resistance is complemented by exceptional color. The original tree grew from a seed likely planted in the 1930s on the property of Mrs. Madeline Van Dyke in Miami, Florida. For decades the parentage of 'Van Dyke' was unknown, though a 2005 pedigree analysis estimated that Haden was the likely parent. The fruit is of oval shape with a rounded base and a bluntly pointed apex. Most fruit will also contain a small lateral beak. They average under a pound at maturity, with smooth yellow skin color and bright red blush. The flesh is yellow with minimal fiber, and has a rich and sweet flavor and aroma. It contains a monoembryonic seed. The fruit typically ripen from June to July in Florida, and production is considered to be good. Van Dyke is moderately fungus resistant.
Van Dyke trees are vigorous growers with open, spreading canopies.

Canary Tree. Sometimes listed as Bakeridesia integerrima, Canary Tree is a showy and handsome small tree growing about 10 ft tall, with evergreen, broadly heart-shaped leaves. They are pubescent with stellate hairs and are rough to the touch on the upper surface. The flowers are 2-3" across and resemble those of a hibiscus. The five petals are bright yellow, each with a reddish blotch at the base. It is an excellent tree for container culture or for a small garden, doing best with full sun and good drainage. It has a long winter span, and blooms are attractive to bees and butterflies.

Carambola, local Florida variety Possum Gold large, round fruit, very sweet and juicy.
Small symmetrical tree. Fruits very prolifically. Fruit is star-shaped when cut across the middle. It has a sweet, watery, slightly acid, pleasant tasting pulp. Eaten fresh, in salads, as garnishes, in drinks or preserved. Mature trees may survive light frost but young trees must be protected from frost and especially - wind. The plant will fruit in container even when in small size (2-3 ft). Season: August - March.

Unusual color for tropics - Deep Sapphire! Blue Ginger is a wonderful, tropical-looking plant which resembles ginger in growth and habit. It is a great addition for a shade garden, can be grown as a container and indoor plant. In warm environment, the plant is evergreen and doesn't go dormant.

Also called: Phimsen Mun. If you like green mangoes, you will love this one! As with many Thai mangoes, this variety must be eaten green to fully enjoy its unique apple-like qualities. It has a crunchy, crisp texture with a pleasantly tart taste. Pick when the fruit are full-sized and green, before they ripen. For the truly different taste, try the fruit with salt and Cayenne pepper.

Val Carrie (Valcarrie) mango is cross between Valencia Pride and Carrie. It took the best from its parents: fast growing vigorous tree, large fruit has excellent flavor. Very aromatic flesh has no fiber at all. In Florida it ripens in June-July. See more info about Mango varieties.

Also called "First Love" (sometimes misspelled as YAshioka), this cultivar is one of the darkest green of all gardenias, it has a 3 to 5 inch bloom so perfect, it looks artificial. It was developed by Tadaoki Yoshioka while he lived in Hawaii, and he later brought it to Florida when he moved to Ft. Lauderdale with his family in 1954. The gardenia was named after his daughter, Aimee (Aimee Hironaka), who died in a plane crash in Dallas on August 2, 1985 (Delta Flight 191). Aimee gardenia grows openly and upright and blooms twice a year and slightly later than others. Flower Size 3 - 5".

Miniature Orange Jasmine. This dwarf variety of murraya stays compact. The shrub gets bushy but stays short 1-2ft tall. Very fragrant flowers year round followed by red fruit. Good for potting culture and as a house plant. This plant is very interesting. The seedlings start blooming in small 1-2" size, when they have only 3-4 leaves! It needs lots of direct sun, likes to be somewhat on a dry side. Do not push it with fertilizer. It is VERY slow-growing. In 2 years it may grow as little as 1 ft tall, this is why it is called Mini. But the good thing is it starts blooming in few weeks to 1-2 months after germination!

Po Pyu Kalay is a unique lemon-flavored mango from the exotic nation of of Myanmar (formerly Burma). The large vigorous tree produces small, yellow, elongated, somewhat pointed fruit with a bright lemon-yellow, moist, spicy, flesh. Commercially it has been dubbed the Lemon Meringue mango for its aroma.

This hybrid is very rare and hard to find. The intoxicating sweet fragrant blossoms are creamy white works of art. Huge double flowers up to 5-6" in diameter, large glossy oval leaves.
