Fragrant randia. Medium size shrub with highly perfumed 1" wide white flowers that attract bees and butterflies. Flowers come in clusters. The plant has woody thorns on the stem that makes it look unusual for such a fine flowering shrub. Foliage is dark green, sometimes blueish. Can be grown in a pot and as a bonsai. The plant has medicinal properties - analgesic activities.

Vigorous full size plant with high yield and strong uniformity. Grown throughout Central Mexico, these papayas are 3 to 5 pounds in weight and the shape of an elongated melon. Their skin is green when unripe but turns yellow to orange with a few freckles once they become mature. They are wonderfully soft and juicy, and have a salmon pink or red flesh that is very sweet with a slightly perfumed, fruity flavor. Sunset (or Sunrise) is a Hawaiian Solo papaya variety, commercially grown primarily on Kauai, has dark pink to reddish-orange flesh and larger fruit than Kapoho. This is a self-fertile variety. The fruit is medium to small size, shape is somewhat round. This is the sweetest Papya variety we ever tasted!
Sunrise is grown and marketed on a large scale overseas, but in Hawaii its production and export are small compared to those of Kapoho.
Papaya does not take shipping well, but recovers easily (do not overwater!).

Hawaiian Low Bearing Solo Papaya Waimanalo - oval, large size yellow fruit with dark yeallow flesh. This is a self-fertile variety. Hearty semi-dwarf papaya tree, bears full size fruits. Low bearing tree makes harvesting easy. Grows wonderfully in Central Florida in both a container or in the ground. Will go from seed to fruit in just one year. Can produce for several years if protected from frosts. Waimanalo has yellow-orange flesh, bears low to the ground initially. It is larger than the popular Sunrise papaya, weighing 22-32 ounces, larger fruit than other Solo papayas, it is grown and marketed almost entirely on Oahu. This papaya was developed in 1960 and was publicly introduced in 1968. In temperate zones it can be cultivated in large pots and taken indoors during the winter. As the name suggests, it starts bearing when very short and continues for a good couple of years.

Sapodilla Alano was selected in Hawaii. It has a very sweet, top shaped fruit with excellent taste. Has a richer flavor than most other smooth-textured cultivars. The plant is very productive.

Sapodilla Hasya - extra large, football-shaped fruit native to Mexico where it is the number one commercial cultivar grown. The fruit is of excellent eating quality and it has a reddish hue throughout the pulp. The tree is a large upright grower, and it is a prolific producer of large fruit that typically weigh thirteen ounces. The fruit ripens from November to June.

Molix is a football shaped fruit native to Mexico. This fruit is similar to Hasya in many ways, but it tends to be darker brown outside, less red inside, and the tree has curly leaves. The pulp is exceptionally sweet with a fine pear texture and pleasant aroma. The fruit are large typically weighing thirteen ounces. The season differs slightly from that of Hasya, beginning in February and ending in May.

Sapodilla Oxkutzcab (or Ox) - "gigantic sapodilla" - is originally from Oxkutzcab (Yucatan). Extremely large (up to 28 oz), roundish fruit with speckled, light-colored skin. Flesh is brown, with excellent taste. Heavily productive tree. Producing heavy crops from May to September.

Sapodilla Tikal was selected in the United States. The fruit are ovoid in shape, but are fat at one end. This variety was one of the first superior commercial varieties planted in Florida. Fruit size can vary, but they can get as large as eleven ounces. The fruit ripen from December to March.

This Sapodilla variety we named Brownie was brought by TopTropicals from Thailand in 2005. Fruit is oval, medium size, and very sweet. The tree is a heavy producer.

Grown in U.S. Department of Agriculture plant hardiness zones 7 through 10, this small fig grows to only 6 to 10 feet tall and 6 feet wide. The late-ripening fruits feature purplish-black skin, strawberry flesh and a rich, sweet flavor. Trees are ready for harvest in early fall, but if mild climate away from coastal areas, you can expect to enjoy a harvest in midsummer and early fall.
