Rare in collections! Chiococca alba - David's Milkberry, West Indian Milkberry, West Indian Snowberry - is from Gardenia family - Rubiaceae - and sure it has fragrant flowers! A rare Florida native vine or shrub with clusters of tiny, fragrant flowers like lily-of-the-valley, followed by bright white berries that glow against the leaves. Birds eat the fruit and butterflies love the blooms. Tough and adaptable, it grows in sun or shade, tolerates salty breezes, and can sprawl, climb, or be trimmed as a shrub. Jasmine Molle, Indian Jui - one of the strongest fragrance of all jasmines. Grows into a large multi-stem bush, or can be planted against trellis or fence. Can be trimmed for compact shape, nice container plant. Flowers have extremely heavy gardenia type scent.

Star Jasmine, very easy to grow, fast growing. Glossy, green foliage giving it a tropical effect. It is also grown for its intensely fragrant white flowers. They are up to 2 inch wide, with very strong scent. The vine can be grown on a trellis, fence, or planted in a container. Blooms from April to September.

The dark orange somewhat fibrous flesh is soft and juicy with a rich, spicy and sweet flavor that speaks of the Caribbean. 'Madame Francis' is one of the few specialty mangos available in the United States for a number of years. The tree is open growing and vigorous, with large, light green leaves and moderate anthracnose tolerance. It is generally one of the first mangos to ripen during the season and often produces multiple crops here in Florida and throughout the tropics.

The flowers are violet-blue, very fragrant, and occur in clusters up to 8 inches long; they bloom from February to April. The pod is furry and contains up to eight red seeds. It grows slowly in cool-summer regions. It thrives in hot sun and well-drained, alkaline soil. The soil should be kept on the dryish side except when blooming.
