Surinam Cherry, Pitanga - vigorous and quick to fruit, often producing the same year or by the next. This plant is a seedling from Black Surinam Cherry Lolita, known for its very sweet, juicy fruit with no aftertaste. The fruit is relatively large at about 1-1.2 inches, starting red and turning deep black when fully ripe. In our garden, these seedlings have come true to seed with black fruit, though some reports suggest they may occasionally produce red fruit as well.
Pitanga is a reliable producer with an upright, freely branching growth habit. It is also quite cold hardy, tolerating short periods of frost. Once established, the plant can handle temperatures in the upper 20s without damage.

Celeste is a small, brown to purple fig well adapted to the South East and fairly cold hardy. The fruit ripens well before most figs. Celeste produces fruit good for eating fresh, processing, or preserves. They freeze well too.
Figs are prized for their delicious fruit, which can be one to three inches in length, violet, brown or black. Most fruits are borne from early summer to late fall on new growth, and the fruits generally mature very quickly. The lovely lobed green leaves make it valuable in the landscape even without its fruit. They are very large, prominently veined and deeply lobed and may be 8 to 10 inches long. The fig makes a splendid patio or indoor plant that grows with little attention, save for constantly moist soil and bright light. Prefers alkaline, well-drained soil, but can tolerate wet conditions (waterlogging). Trees are very sensitive to frost when actively growing, but can withstand 10F when dormant.

Prince Kuhio Vine. The great ornamental features are beautiful foliage and the flowers. The leaves are palmately divided into five to seven segments, and are very attractive smooth green color. The noticeable long red-purplish flowers are in groups. Even before the flowers emerge the buds are a positive feature, because they look like small berries.

Adenium Thong Suk Jai (Thong Suk Joi ) - is a rich, festive-looking desert rose with large, ruffled double blooms that seem almost sculpted. Sein Ta Lone mango is also called Priyoor, Diamond Solitaire, Myanmar #1, or variety "Guava" due to its exceptional flavor. Imagine stumbling upon a small, fiberless mango and being hit with the aroma of fresh guava! An excellent early season variety, with notes of Indian spice and well-rounded sweetness. The fruit is small, oval in shape with yellow skin color. The flesh is firm, fiberless, and sweet with terrific Indochinese-hybrid type flavor. It is comparable to Dupuis Saigon. It contains a seed that is sometimes polyembryonic.
This mango is from Myanmar, and is grown on commercial scale in that country for export to other parts of Asia. Also known as the "Diamond Solitaire" (not to be confused with "Diamond aka HW-14", to which it bears no relation). It is considered to be of excellent eating quality and a good producer. It has been propagated in south Florida under the name "Guava". Also possible that the mango grown in Kerala state India by the name "Priyoor" may also be the same mango as Sein Ta Lone.
The open growth habit and good production make it an excellent choice for growers and collectors alike.

America - Brazil, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela, Guyana; C. America - Panama to Mexico; Caribbean - Leeward and Windward Isles to Cuba.
The fruits are sometimes gathered from the wild for local use as a flavoring in soups, and the plant also has minor local medicinal uses.

Tree Calliandra, Powderpuff. Calliandra houstoniana is a fast growing small tree or large shrub with fine feathery foliage and bright red fine structured powderpuff flowers. This species is very close to calliandra calothyrsis, but the flowers open fully, unlike c. calothyrsis, where the flower opens gradually from the bottom to the top.

A new type of Julie Mango that has much better production and decease resistance than the original Julie mango, so much loved by people in Jamaica and Trinidad. Super Julie is a more vigorous and hardy tree but still can be grown in a container. It is an excellent choice for those who really want the particular variety Julie (it has indeed a unique excellent taste!) but didn't have much luck with original Julie which is cold sensitive and difficult to grow. Super Julie is an answer for all Julie lovers!

Cordyline terminalis 'Show Girl' (Singapore Twist), New Guinea Fan Ti Leaf. An unusual form with a head that grows in a flat fan that actually twists as it grows! It has olive green foliage with reddish bases, very compact internodes, the foliage heads 30" across. This is a great conversation piece for the garden or patio. Dusari / Dasheri is a variety of mango grown in different parts of North India. It is a sweet and fragrant variety of mango, color is yellow when ripe, skin thin, pulp fibreless and flesh firm.
In the 18th century, Dasheri first appeared in the gardens of Nawab of Lucknow. Since then Dasheri plants have been produced and planted throughout India. People from the village Dasheri near Kakori, Uttar Pradesh have the mother plant. This mother plant belonged to the orchards of Late Mohammad Ansar Zaidi. This mother plant is said to be around 200 years old. It bears fruit every alternate year. Though the fruit is small when compared to its grafted counterparts, its flavor and aroma are unmatched. The plant is being well taken care of by Mr. Zaidi's descendants. It is often referred to as "The Mother Dasehri".
