Wrightia religiosa - Sacred Buddhist, Water Jasmine, or Wondrous Wrightia - is one of Thailand's most treasured fragrant tropical plants. This elegant flowering shrub produces masses of delicate white pendant flowers with an enchanting fruity-jasmine fragrance that can perfume an entire patio or garden. Blooming almost year round in warm climates, it is widely planted near temples and homes throughout Southeast Asia and is considered sacred in Buddhist culture. The single-flowered form is more vigorous and easier to grow than the double varieties, with graceful twiggy branching that also makes it an outstanding bonsai subject. Prefers well-draining soil, regular watering, and partial to full sun. May become deciduous in cooler winter weather below 65F but quickly returns with warmth.

Beautiful white hybrid of Mussaenda - Dona Aurora. Medium size shrub with lush soft foliage and bright orange star-like flowers, surrounded by large white bracts. The plant is sensitive to freeze. Can be grown in container. Requires good drainage and prefers to be on a dry side.

Heaven Lotus is a rare, small tropical tree from Brazil. Its spectacular, fragrant flowers resemble lotus blooms and are as beautiful as they are unique. The tree features a straight trunk with large, palm-like leaves and may develop branches as it matures.

French Perfume Jasmine, Poets jasmine - very fragrant! Essential oil of this jasmine is one of the most important components in perfumery. Grown in the perfume fields of Southern France.Semi-evergreen to deciduous vine. This vine has lots of fragrant white flowers in spring, summer, and fall. Drought and pollution tolerant. Jasmine associates nicely with climbing roses, honeysuckle or clematis, but it looks superb grown on its own. The species is hardy. It has good tolerance to a wide range of temperatures and is easily maintained in pots.

Lettuce tree, Cabbage tree, Hawaiian Papala kepau. Huge leaves with pleasing pale green color. Very exotic look! And very cold sensitive... Protect from cold when temperatures drop below 60F.

Aztec Sweet Herb, Sweetleaf - Mexican herb with an incredibly sweet leaf. Leaves can be eaten from the plant like candy or tossed into fruit salads for an unusual addition. It is used since the time of the Aztecs for coughs and colds.

Cashmere bouquet, Glory Bower - ideal for the container grown patio plant, very fragrant and will attract butterflies to the large flower trusses. Hardy to zone 8. Enjoy clusters of sweetly scented, pink flowers that attract butterflies and other pollinators. They open in terminal panicles up to six inches across. Dark green leaves often tinged purple are up to 8 inches long. This plant can be grown as a compact shrub or allowed to spread. Can tolerate light freezes, rejuvenating each spring. Dwarf Pomegranate - compact fruiting shrub that is often used for bonsai. Fruit are smaller than regular pomegranate, but also edible, although somewhat acid. Mostly used as cute ornamental specimen.

Australian Tree fern - one of the most tropical looking plants. Adds "Hawaii" spirit to your garden. It puts on growth very quickly. The fronds typically will reach about 8' long on a mature specimen, but, as with most tree ferns, they will be significantly stunted if kept in a pot. It will grow well in dappled (but not deep) shade, but also does well in some sun, even in hot climates, as long as the moisture supply is adequate. It also does relatively well in exposed, windy situations.
