Hog Plum Chutney

Ingredients

  • 2 cups hog plum pulp
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 small red chili, sliced
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Combine hog plum pulp, sugar, ginger, salt, and water in a saucepan.
  2. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
  3. Add sliced chili and cook 10 to 15 minutes until thickened.
  4. Cool and serve with curries, meats, or rice.
