This evergreen shrub is neat, clean and functions well in the landscape as a basic evergreen shrub. It grows in almost any soil including heavy clay. This osmanthus puts on a good display of flowers, showier than other members of this genus. Osmanthus likes full sun or very light shade (especially in hot areas)and needs little water once it is established.

Fortunes Tea Olive is a very compact hybrid and has holly-like leaves that are evergreen with a dense oval crown and lustrous, dark-green leaves. This shrub grows well in full sun and semi-shade and its white jasmine-like scented flowers smell amazing! Flowers last for several weeks from October to December. Great choice for container and indoor garden.
