Small tree 10-15 ft tall. Leaves 2- or 3-pinnately compound; leaflets oblong-ovate or ovate, 4-10 X 2.5-4.5 cm, papery, glabrous, base broadly cuneate, apex acuminate. Inflorescences racemose, 1", terminal, few flowered. Calyx pale red, tubular, irregular, corolla golden yellow, campanulate. Seeds ovoid, with a wing, membranous. Very pretty apricot colored flower - rare collectable small tree. Flowers are slightly fragrant.
