Brazilian Bomber is a larger hybrid of Lobster Claw that grows and flowers well in the warmer areas of Central Florida. It forms clumps 6-8 ft tall and bears red upright inflorescences that are 1-2 ft in length. This Heliconia grows best in partial shade with a fertile and evenly moist soil. This hybrid is a cross of Heliconia bihai x caribaea x pabstii and has also been known as Dmitri Sucre.
