Oriental persimmon: Winterset. Astringent (=eaten ripe) , elongated fruit, yellow skin when ripe, seedless, super sweet, medium height, bear consistently, very cold hardy. Astringent cultivars have water-soluble tannins in the flesh of the fruit at maturity (harvest) and do not normally lose their astringency until soft, ripe, and very sweet.
