Very branched and floriforous with deep purple flower buds and deep lilac bracts. Grows to height 12".
A popular plant grown for potpourri, Lavender likes to grow in full sun and well-drained soil. One of the most famous of all herbs for the fragrance of its dried flowers and the oil distilled from them. Hardy in zones 6-9. Can be used for bonsai.
