Long, thin chartreuse and cream-colored leaves with green, and a little pink, accents help this Hoya stand out. The unique leaf markings provide depth and look stunning as the vines begin to trail. The new foliage of this Stringbean Hoya look alike are touched in pinks and near reds and mature to a nice medium yellow to cream and green with a dark outline on each narrow leaf. The stringbean-like leaves are very narrow, dark green and almost "bent" along the leaf. This variegated form of Hoya wayetii is a vigorous, yet dainty, and easy to grow Waxflower that creates a tight mat of fine stems and dense foliage that is perfectly suited to spilling from containers and hanging baskets on warm shaded patios and porches. The dense low growth of Hoya wayetii should lend it to use as a groundcover beneath larger plants with similar growing requirements.
It's a hoya best suitable for growing as a hanging plant.
