This dwarf mulberrybstays roughly 5-8 ft depending on source/conditions, fruits very young, and importantly, produces flowers and fruit on both old and new wood. A compact, round dwarf everbearing mulberry that stays small but produces big. It loads up with deep burgundy fruit all Spring through Summer, often covering the plant from top to bottom. The berries are plump, sweet, and easy to pick - especially when grown in a container. It fruits on old wood as well as new so it often bears fruit the first year of planting. Unlike other mulberry varieties, it fruits for nearly five months, from April-May to September. The compact shrub grows to a manageable 3-5' tall and is ideal for container growing.
Perfect for patios, small gardens, or edible landscapes, this variety performs beautifully in pots and stays naturally bushy without constant pruning. Cold hardy in zones 7-11 and tough enough to handle heat, it is a reliable, productive mulberry for a wide range of climates.
