Online order HELP

General rules:

By selling a live plant mail-order to you, we assume you know what you are doing. Shipping process is a big stress for a live plant. You have to know how to take care of it to help the plant to recover and thrive. Please read important information before you order a live plant online. Please follow our planting instructions upon arrival!

Before placing your order please READ this important info: Plants size, Shipping info, and Our Guarantees. By placing an order with us, you agree with our policy presented in these sections.

Climate conditions - All our plants are tropical or subtropical, and many of them won't tolerate freeze. To make sure your local climate conditions are suitable for a certain tropical plant, please contact your Local Extention Service Office (Agricultural Information Service) for advice regarding your area. We are unable to provide this specific information for each region.

Order questions. You may check your order status online. Otherwise, you may email us questions or concerns regarding your order, and they will be answered in order they've been received. Don't forget to include your order number, your name and location!

Order changes and claims. All changes in existing orders, as well as claims on accepted orders (within 3-day period) are excepted ONLY in written form: email or fax. Don't forget to include your order number! For urgent assistance regarding changes in your order, shipping address verification, etc. please email or call us and we will get back to you shortly.

Gift plant. If you are sending a plant as a present for a certain date, please order it ahead of time (see our shipping info). You may also use a gift certificate.

To order online:

  • select the quantity you want and click "add to cart" button. This will take you to a shopping cart.
  • click "View Cart" to adjust quantities in the shopping cart
  • chose your state and click "add shipping" button
  • click "Go to payments" to complete your order. We use SECURE online server for credit card payments.

Online Payment Problems. If you are experiencing problems with online payment, please contact us.

Personal Checks or money orders. We encourage our customers to use secure online payment rather than a check. We receive hundreds of orders weekly. It's very hard to get in control of each order payment status unless all payments are done electronically. If you still prefer to pay with a check, please download order form for printing.

Cancelled orders. Cancelled orders can be subject to cancellation fees up to 6% to cover cost of credit card transactions

Online ordering for local customers. If you live close by and would like to pick up your plants to avoid shipping charges, then contact us for local pickup. You can also visit our Garden center.

Back order items. If the plant is back ordered, it is not currently for sale. Follow the link/button "add to wish list" next to the plant listing, and you will be automatically notified as soon as we have it back it stock.

Additional payments: adding extra items to already placed order. If you want to add items to the order that was already placed (to be shipped in the same box), do not place new order. Please, contact us instead.

Consignment. We can buy your plants and seeds! If you are a grower of rare tropical plants and want to offer something for us to buy or sell on consignment in our store - use this form (for individuals) or contact us (for companies with availability lists) with a list of plants or seeds that you would like to sell.

Gift certificates (gift voucher)

How to buy gift voucher:

  1. Fill out all fields and click "add to cart"
  2. Follow payment procedure as usual
  3. You will have order number for your reference

Once the order is processed we will email voucher code to the recipient

How to use gift voucher:

  1. There is a gift voucher field in shopping card (don't mix it with discount voucher). Enter voucher code and press "Recalculate". You will see total amount adjusted.
  2. If your total is more than the voucher value, then you will be prompted to enter credit card number
  3. If the total amount is less than the voucher value,it can be re-used again for the remaining balance.

We always suggest a person who received the voucher to call us so we can provide some recommendations what is the best to buy.

Payment info:

We accept for payment:

  • Major credit cards accepted online using secure SSL-encrypted connection. You can also call us with your credit card.
  • PayPal is accepted as online form of payment. If you pay using PayPal, then you will be redirected to PayPal website. After entering your payment information, you will be redirected back to our site. Don't forget to complete your transaction by pressing order button.
    Per PayPal requirements, all orders over $250 will be shipped with signature confirmation, which means, if nobody is home, a carrier won't leave a box at your door, so you will have to pick it up at the USPS, UPS, or FedEx offices. You may wish to make some arrangement with your local carrier, for example, request to hold the package at the office to avoid plants spending the whole traveling inside delivery truck, get plants shipped to your work address, or request us to put "hold for pickup" note on a shipping label. This rule is applicable to all forms of payments via PayPal. If you pay by using credit card on our server, then your order will be shipped without signature confirmation (unless requested by you).
    We won't accept any changing in shipping address after order paid using PayPal is placed.
  • Checks and money orders, Unfortunately, in this case we can't guarantee availability due to the time your check gets to us and gets cleared. If you prefer to mail us a check or credit information, please make a note about possible substitutions. Download order form (*.PDF file, 62Kb) for printing for mail-in payment.

Please NEVER EMAIL your credit card information, this is not secure way of payment.

After you've done shopping, you need to fill your shipping info. Please make sure your address is correct. We hate to see our plant spent extra time in transit or being returned to us due to wrong shipping address.

If you're paying with credit card you'll be prompted for billing information. Follow the screen instructions. We use SSL secure connection to process your credit card information. You'll receive a confirmation after the order is completed.

If you pay using PayPal, then you will be forwarded to PayPal website. After entering your payment information, you will be redirected back to our site. Don't forget to complete your transaction by pressing order button.


You should always check security of the connection when using credit card payment. The first sign you should avoid entering your credit card number is absence of lock-sign in the right bottom corner or "https" in address line.
