Turbina holubii is a shrub 0.8-2.50 meres high, many-stemmed from the base and much branched. Branches laying flat on the ground or climbing at the tips. The caudex can grow to eighteen centimetres in diameter, the branches will lay flat on the ground and reach 80 centimetres or more. Leaves deciduous ovate-cordate to circular-cordate, sometimes oblong cordate. Flowers mauve or pink, usually darker in the centre; white flowered plants occur rarely.
