Nice plant for the collector! This is a very rare type of screw pine, a miniature, ideal for pot culture under filtered light conditions. Great for use as a specimen. It will reach about 3' in a container with multiple heads and several air roots coming down from the stems.

The dark blue-green foliage color adds to the striking nature of this exotic plant. The plant is often grown as an ornamental foliage. It is ideal for above-ground planter; recommended near a deck or patio. Growth rate is slow to moderate. It is used as a ground cover, rockery to create a striking landscape effect.

The plant is salt tolerant and tolerates low humidity. Water plentifully during the growing season, but do not allow the plant to stand in water. Allow the soil to dry slightly between waterings. Watering and fertilization below 40°F should be avoided.

No pests or diseases are of major concern.
