Easy, beautifully flowered tender woody vine. Shiny oblong leaves in pairs with a tendril to climb with, in spring 1 inch flared trumpets, lavender blue with purple throats last 4 /6 weeks and cover the plant. Very easy to flower and grow, prefers partial shade, too much sun (eg midday ) will fade the flowers, tolerates freezing and light frosts when established. An evergreen climber which climbs with tendrils at the ends of the leaf stalks, the large lilac pink flowers are prettily veined foxglove shaped and borne in summer. Has only recently been moved out of the genus Pandorea.
