Philodendron sp. 'Golden Goddess' (Philodendron 'Golden Goddess')
Botanical name: Philodendron sp.
Common name: Philodendron 'Golden Goddess'
Cultivar: Golden Goddess
Family: Araceae

Philodendron 'Golden Goddess', also known as 'Malay Gold' and frequently sold under the trade name 'Lemon Lime', is a fast-growing climbing aroid prized for its brilliant chartreuse to golden-yellow foliage. Although its exact origin has not been formally documented, it is considered a cultivated hybrid or selection rather than a naturally occurring species. The glossy, heart-shaped to elongated leaves emerge bright yellow and retain their vibrant color even in moderate light, bringing a bold tropical accent to interiors and shaded gardens. As the plant matures, it develops long climbing stems that benefit from a moss pole or other vertical support, producing progressively larger leaves.
This cultivar thrives in bright, indirect light but tolerates partial shade, although leaf color is most intense under brighter conditions. It grows best in a well-drained, organic-rich potting mix kept evenly moist but never waterlogged. Suitable for USDA zones 10b to 12, it is widely grown as a houseplant and also performs well outdoors in frost-free climates. Like other philodendrons, it contains calcium oxalate crystals and should be kept away from pets and small children if ingested. Its vivid foliage, vigorous growth, and easy care have made 'Golden Goddess' one of the most popular golden-leaved climbing philodendrons in cultivation.See Article about Philodendrons.

This spectacular vine discovered in Indonesia has a lot going for it: It's a member of the trendy philodendron family; it's a climber; and it sports eye-catching golden-yellow foliage. On top of that, Golden Goddess is easy to grow in a bright spot, and like most vines, it becomes more spectacular with age. Over time, the new leaves get bigger and bolder, creating a look you can't help but show off. This plant prefers bright light but avoid direct sunlight. The Golden Goddess is a moderate grower depending on its environment and is hardy in USDA Zone 9-11.
