Wild Jasmine, Wingleaf Woodenpear. Small tree covered in sweet-scented flowers. New flowers are white - but get a pink color as they age. The specific epithet alata is from the Latin meaning "winged", referring to the fruit. Fruit a clavate capsule, 1-2", containing 8 winged seeds. This shrubby tree grows on the fringe of forest patches.
