This vine stays attractive throughout the year, and attractive to both butterflies and hummingbirds. It can be used as a ground cover, a trailer in a container, or along a trellis. Jacquemontia pentantha (Skyblue Clustervine) can tolerate most soil types, but prefers slightly acidic soil with a pH of 6.0-6.5 and well-drained soil.

Jacquemontia pentantha prefers full sun and needs plenty of water, so water it regularly during the growing season, especially in dry or hot conditions.
