The button fern has dark green rounded leaves attached to firm, wiry stems and forms a dense, attractive plant.

Outdoors, they feel at home among rocks and near small waterfalls or streams. Plant in containers indoors or out. Use in shady rock gardens or where more vigorous plants will not overrun it.
