It is very vigorous hybrid that grows quickly to 7 to 9 feet. The shrub is covered with showy yellow and salmon deepening to yellow and orange sepals. They are smaller than many other hybrids, but they are very showy on the bush. In Australia this plant has been rebranded as Mussaenda 'Calcutta Gold'.
