Jatropha curcas, also called physic nut, is a nice landscape plant, growing to a bushy specimen. Young leaves are dark red to almost black. The plant is used to produce the non-edible Jatropha oil, for making candles and soap, and as a feedstock for the production of biodiesel.

Very easy care, hardy plant.
