Elliptic or ovate. Funnel shaped yellow flowers with maroon stripes in the throat. Begins to bloom when 3-5 ft tall. Grows well even in poor soil. Fruits are in a slender capsule. Seeds winged. Germination is rapid. Growth rate is moderate during the first year. Good potential for containers. |
