Cultivation questions and Plant Identification

Due to extremely large amount of questions about plants and their cultivation we are unable to answer all of them.

We suggest you first of all:

1. Look up in our Catalog, we try to put all information we have about plants there.
2. Frequently Asked Questions page will be helpfull, too.
3. For questions regarding plants hardiness in your climate zone, please contact your Local Extention Office. We are unable to know climate conditions in every area.

Plant recommendations and landscaping advice

Please do not ask us about what plant is good for your apartment or yard - we haven't seen your place. We provide you with a large selection of plants so everyone can find something he/she likes. However, tastes differ, and we can not recommend one plant or another. By providing you with the most complete information we have about our plants, we give you a chance to do some research and make your own choice.

Plant ID: small files only please!

All messages with attachments over 2 Mb of total size may be rejected by our mail-server out and lost.
Due to extremely high volume of emails with picture attachments for plant ID, we had to set up a large file filter on our server. You may email only small size graphic files to us. All messages with attachments over 2 Mb of total size will be rejected.
You don't have to be Adobe Photoshop expert to scale your images down. Many freely dowloadable programs can do that. Small 600x400 file is as good as 3000x2000 for plant identification. We appreciate your cooperation and will be happy to help.

Please note that we specialize on tropical or subtropical plants only. Do not seek advice from us on non-tropical plants.
