Varieties: Homestead, Dade. Season: May - July. Thin skinned fruit does not ship well. Very tasty custard-like pulp melts in your mouth. Flavor is excellent. Reputed in Mexico to have soporific effect. Sapote dormil - Sleepy Sapote.
