Both stems and leaves are covered with hairs. Bright red to orange tubular flowers to 1in grow near stem tips for long season. Justicias can be the anchor for attracting hummingbirds to a Southwest landscape. Their bright, tubular flowers bloom for extended periods of time, welcoming hummers and other nectar-feeders to gardens. Flower colors range from yellow to deep red.
