King Anthurium. Anthurium veitchii is known as the king of anthuriums. A houseplant with dramatic foliage, leaves reaching 3 feet long with a heart shaped base. Flower spike is leathery and greenish-white with a cream colored spadix. Likes partial shade or light shade. In winter, temperatures of not less than 65 degrees Fahrenheit are preferred. Likes a warm and humid atmosphere, so misting is beneficial. Reduce watering in the winter.

This is an American hybrid grape that was created in 1968 by John A. Mortensen at the University of Florida by crossing various Vitis vinifera grape varieties such as Golden Muscat with native Florida varieties. When released in 1987, Blanc du Bois became another grape variety in the small but growing number of vine types that can both produce marketable wine on their own yet can withstand bacterial infection that destroys nearly all vinifera vinestocks imported into the southern United States.
Grown in coastal areas in the southeast United States (South Carolina to Texas) and north into the Texas Hill country. Adapted to alkaline and high salt soils.

These are a Muscadine hybrid, having been crossed between several types of grapes. They are very hardy and are great Grapes for the Deep South and coastal areas because they don't require a high amount of chill time to set their fruit or achieve their sweet/sour balance. They were bred out of the University of Florida so you know they'll handle hot, sultry summers.
Southern Home Grape is self-pollinating, too, so you don't have to plant other types of Grapes with it to get a good crop every year.

Tamarillo, or Tree Tomato is a small, attractive, half-woody, evergreen or partially deciduous, shrub or small tree. The fruits are juicy and sub-acid, they are eaten out of hand, added to salads, used in preserves, jams, jellies etc. The mature fruits resemble a hen's egg in size and shape and, in the West Indies, ripen from October to January. The 'Silas Woods' is an outstanding variety of Sapodilla. The tree has dwarf growth habit (under 20 ft in the ground) and adapts well to a container. This variety is highly productive. Trees are producing year round, the branches often require support as they get very heavy loaded with fruits.

The best variety for potting culture - the most profuse producer, flowering and fruiting nearly year round providing bright light and warmth. Although the fruit are smaller than other varieties and average 4-5" size.

Satin Pothos, Silk Pothos, Silver Philodendron. It is cultivated for satiny dark green juvenile leaves which are heart-shaped with irregular silver spots. Light green foliage is spotted with silvery, reflective variegation. The heart-shaped leaves are velvety to the touch and matte in texture, which has led this plant to have the common names Philodendron Silver and Satin Pothos (though botanically it is neither Philodendron nor Pothos). Eventually, its vines grow quite long, making Scinapsus pictus a great choice for hanging planters.
