This beautiful perennial isa terrestrial growing, primary orchid hybrid, a crossing between Spathoglottis kimballiana and Spathoglottis plicata. There are a few Spathoglottis kimballiana x plicata hybrids, which all look quite different, depending to the proportion of the parents.

Orange Bird of Paradise. One of the most well-known plants in the world. The fascinating blooms are sold as cut flowers by the million. The most tropical-looking!

The young leaves on Syngonium White Butterfly are green with white veins. At maturity, the leaf becomes about 80% white with a green border. It is a prolific grower, will vine in long days and if not grown in enough light. White Butterfly is the standard by which all other Syngoniums are measured.

Bat Head Lily, Bat Flower, Devil Flower, Black Tacca. Curious, bat-like inflorescence both in shape and color, with wide spreading, wing-like bracts of rich maroon-black, accompanied by long trailing filaments or "whiskers".

Cordyline fruticosa Sherbert is a vibrant tropical plant, also known as the Ti Plant, prized for its sword-like leaves featuring streaks of green, pink, magenta, and cream, adding bright color indoors or outdoors, and offering air-purifying qualities and good luck symbolism. Easy to grow, tolerates poor soils, has low water needs. Sun or shade.

Also called "First Love" (sometimes misspelled as YAshioka), this cultivar is one of the darkest green of all gardenias, it has a 3 to 5 inch bloom so perfect, it looks artificial. It was developed by Tadaoki Yoshioka while he lived in Hawaii, and he later brought it to Florida when he moved to Ft. Lauderdale with his family in 1954. The gardenia was named after his daughter, Aimee (Aimee Hironaka), who died in a plane crash in Dallas on August 2, 1985 (Delta Flight 191).
Aimee gardenia grows openly and upright and blooms twice a year and slightly later than others. Flower Size 3 - 5".

Vietnamese Gardenia - large fragrant flowers. Easy to grow to compare with other gardenias, not so sensitive to overwatering and the most cold hardy of all tropical gardenias. Flowers are very beautiful unusual shape, extremely fragrant. Perfect for container, very bushy. Can be also planted in the ground. This pretty plant has been called "Gardenia" for long time. However, analysis shows that it is a horticultural form of Kailarsenia.

Bolivian Sunset Gloxinia. Excellent houseplant or ground cover. The density of the foliage and flowers makes a spectacular show. Excellent houseplant; even when not in bloom the attractive foliage is evergreen and attractive all seasons. Grown outdoors in dappled shade with plenty of water, the density of the foliage and flowers makes a spectacular show. May die down in the spring, then comes back during the rainy season. This is a great fall to early winter flowering perennial. It spreads rapidly from rhizomes and forms a dense ground cover. You can give flowering starts of it from your garden as Christmas presents.

New hybrid between Arabian Nights and Grand Duke. We got the mother plant from our customer from India. Finally have it propagated. This variety has low, bushy growth habit. Vigorous once established, lots of flowers. Full sun.

Rubus albescens (niveus). Origin: India, Malaysia. Unlike common raspberries from up North that can not tolerate tropical heat, Mysore Tropical Raspberry grows very well in hot humid climates. It grows very fast into a scrambling shrub with flexible stems and tends to bloom and fruit throughout the year. The fruit is red when unripe and purple black when ripe, very juicy and sweet. The clusters contain as many as couple dozen fruit. It is also a very ornamental plant because it has almost white canes and the leaves are green above and whitish underneath. The plant is cold hardy to upper 20s F; young plants are more cold sensitive. Great to grow in large containers and will produce large amounts of fruit. Good drainage is essential for good growth.
