Blooming Vines

Bread Flower. One of the most impressive tropical vines that is very popular in Thailand and other South-East Asia countries. Moderate growth woody climber with clusters of freshly-baked-bread fragrant white flowers, it is easy to care and tolerates wide range of conditions. It can be trained as a compact bush and is good for container culture. Attracts butterflies and hummingbirds.
This plant is relatively cold hardy according to our experience. Mild frost doesn't do any damage to it, even large tropical leaves stay glossy green and healthy. It is very vigorous grower that can create nice privacy hedge or cover a large fence.

New rare variety from Brazil, collectible item. Deep red-wine color, slightly fragrant flowers. Blooming size.

Mexican Coral Vine, Coral Creeper - fast-growing delicate vine with bright pink flowers. Cold hardy! Very fast growing, will cover a fece in one season. Blooms most of the year.

Pelican flower - large flower variety. One of the most popular ornamental vines. Brown flower is very unusual-looking. Very fast-growing and vigorous, can cover a fence just in one season.
The Aristolochia gigantea will inspire a sense of marvel to anyone who gazes upon it. This truly spectacular blossom produces a pouch that in some cultivars is almost 2 feet long and more than a foot across. Ivory veins network across a burgundy velvet background as the flower unfurls. Heart-shaped, light green leaves, about 6 inches in length, adorn this easy-to-grow vine. The plant blooms at a young age and grows in full sun or partial shade.
In some sources, Aristolochia gigantea is considered as Aristolochia grandiflora var. Hookeri. The cultivation of Aristolochias is undemanding. Sun lovers that appreciate some shade in hotter inland areas, they adapt to any soil that drains well. Any pruning necessary to contain or shape the plants should be done in late winter or early spring. Cultivation is easy, and growth can be tamed.

Dwarf Pelican flower, Calico flower. Easy to grow, fast growing vine with curious flowers, relatively cold hardy (to some frost). Flowers are similar to A. gigantea, but smaller size (4-5").

Easter Lily Vine, Heralds Trumpet, Nepal Trumpet Flower. One of the most impressive climbing plants - woody vine with large fragrant white flowers resembling lilies, and lush tropical foliage. The flowers of this species are cup-like, shorter than B. grandiflora, but the B. murtonii is more profuse bloomer.

Perfect neglect plant! Grow it either as house plant, hanging basket, fast growing ground cover, or decorate your patio with it. It needs no attention and will reward your "no-efforts" with beautiful waxy foliage. Cissus rotundifolia comes from East Africa. It has green stems with almost round leaves. The leaves are fleshy, waxy, toothed and of a deep green color. Tendrils arise opposite young leaves and the plant climbs on supports with their help. Needs very little water.

Red Bleeding heart - a fast growing showy vine with bright pink-and-red flowers. Good for creating a privacy hedge or as over the fence cascade of flowers. Needs strong support, or a large trellis.

Bleeding heart - one of the most spectacular blooming vines. Spectacular, dramatic flowers are slightly flat, they have white sepals on either side of bright crimson petals. The appearance may be liken to a line of dangling hearts, each emerging from the other. This plant is often seen in pots where it will abide in a continual state of flowering. As long as you provide lots of light to it, it'll bloom most of the time.

Shower Orchid, Wooly Congea. The actual flowers are tiny and inconspicuous, but they are borne in the center of three showy white 1in long bracts that look like velvety propellers. The bracts gradually change through pink, lavender, and finally gray over the course of several weeks.

Glory Vine - A rare, vigorous twining climber with large, shiny, bright green leaves and beautiful fragrant white flowers in large terminal clusters with fragrance of carnations.

A remarkable Morning Glory native to arid regions of Argentina. Like other caudiciform species, it has swollen stems containing water-storage tissue, and can survive extended periods of drought. Give it a well-drained soil, keep it moist and keep it out of the full sun. The caudex will grow to more than 2 ft, the vines reach for more than 12 ft. The bell-shaped flowers are pink. The plant is very showy; it can be kept in a pot as a bonsai and is easy to control as a container specimen, just needs a little trellis, otr can be pruned. Fast growing.

VERY RARE!!! Bluegrape jasmine, Princess jasmine, Che vang. A rare endemic of India. Flowers are large, 2-3" wide, with narrow curled petals and extremely fragrant. Flower shape resembles Michelia Alba flower. Black-blue berries size of a small grape appear after blooming which attract birds. This species is very hard to find. Can be used in landscape as a fine vine or dense ground cover.

Rose Bud Jasmine, Everblooming Jasmine - a very rare jasmine with highly fragrant flowers. Blooms year round. Glossy leaves are very ornamental in contrast with dark pink buds and snow white flowers. This is a very vigorous plant that can cover a fence or pagoda in no time.

Angel Hair Jasmine. Bushy dense vining shrub with star-like white fragrant flowers and soft velvet leaves. Very fast growing, great for hedges.

Jasmine sambac Mysore Mulli. Fast growing variety with highly fragrant double flowers. Can be grown as a vine or trimmed as a dense shrub. This variety is a vining shrub, pretty fast growing, that requires constant pruning to keep compact shape. If you let it go - the plant will grow as a large vine. Flowers are double and heavily scented. Blooms profusely provided full sun. The most reliable bloomer of all sambacs. Will tolerate some shade with less blooming. Perfect houseplant, takes both sun or shade, Jasminum Sambac is a beautiful fragrant everbloomer for your home and garden.

Mansoa alliacea (Cydista aequinoctialis) - Garlic Vine. This is one of the most rewarding flowering vines that you can grow, unless that you are a vampire. Interestingly enough crushed leaves smell like garlic. It is one of the most wanted winter-flowering vines. When in full bloom, it looks like a cascade of blue-purple over a fence or trellis. Deep lavender flowers with white throat fading to a paler lavender within a few days, and you can see all three colors on the plant at the same time. Winter-Spring bloomer, it will also have some flowers on and off throughout the year. The vine has moderate growth rate and can stay compact in a pot as a specimen, and even can be grown as a house plant. It can tolerate some light frost.

Viagra vine, Mukombera. A robust woody creeper, root infusion is popularly used as an aphrodisiac in Africa and as a natural appetizer, enhancer of cerebral and peripheral blood circulation.

Panama red Passion fruit. A hybrid passionfruit that is vigorous and more tropical than others. The large fruit has attractive red skin and crops very heavily from Autumn through to Spring. Giant granadilla. Delicious fruit of wonderful flavor is eaten fresh or used in drinks. The unripe, green fruit is eaten as a vegetable.

Grape Leaved Passion Flower. Passiflora vitifolia is a vine with cylindric stems covered in red-brown hairs when young. The name is derived from the shape of leaves resembling that of grape leaves. The flowers are a beautiful deep red. The vine is moderately hardy and can be killed back by hard freezing temperatures or prolonged frosts.

Rangoon Creeper - double flower variety. An extremely beautiful shrubby vine with pale-pink to deep crimson star shaped flowers, covering the entire plant when in full bloom. It's scent is unforgettable, fruity and intoxicating! The flowers are born in clusters and each flower has many variations of color, depending on how old the flower is. The flower starts out white and or pink striped and turn solid pink and finally dark pink on maturity.
