Jasmine sambac Mysore Mulli. Fast growing variety with highly fragrant double flowers. Can be grown as a vine or trimmed as a dense shrub. This variety is a vining shrub, pretty fast growing, that requires constant pruning to keep compact shape. If you let it go - the plant will grow as a large vine. Trailing and twining woody vine with long branches. The brilliant red flowers cannot be missed and are great for attracting flying insects. The species name of the plant means "evergreen" and the leaves do hold on the plant throughout the winter.

Mansoa alliacea (Cydista aequinoctialis) - Garlic Vine. This is one of the most rewarding flowering vines that you can grow, unless that you are a vampire. Interestingly enough crushed leaves smell like garlic. It is one of the most wanted winter-flowering vines. When in full bloom, it looks like a cascade of blue-purple over a fence or trellis. Deep lavender flowers with white throat fading to a paler lavender within a few days, and you can see all three colors on the plant at the same time. Winter-Spring bloomer, it will also have some flowers on and off throughout the year. The vine has moderate growth rate and can stay compact in a pot as a specimen, and even can be grown as a house plant. It can tolerate some light frost.

Evergreen Wisteria, Summer Wisteria. Evergreen wisteria is not only a beautiful and fragrant perennial vine. It is a gorgeous, reliable, fragrant flowering vine that will climb to a height of 30 feet in favorable growing conditions. Unlike the lavender-blooming Chinese and Japanese wisteria (Wisteria sinensis and W. floribunda), evergreen wisteria is not an invasive plant. Evergreen wisteria can reach heights of 30 feet, however it can be pruned smaller.
This vine can adapt to most soil pH's and can grow in any soil type. This vine does require well draining soil and can grow in full sun to partial shade. Plant it in autumn to establish the roots through the winter. It will quickly cover a pergola, provide a perfumed scent and attract pollinators throughout the spring and summer.

Rare collectible species from Columbia. It starts out with somewhat light green undivided leaves, then begins to split as the plant matures growing small splits along the leaf. Eventually, the plant will set up in a nook or a joint in a tree and begin growing as if nesting. This is where the plant becomes most interesting. The leaves become completely divided or pinnate.
The Monstera pinnatipartita is one such out-of-the-ordinary example. This evergreen climbs with epiphytic aerial roots and can grow up to 2 feet a year if growing conditions are optimal. Despite their show-stopping appearance, these plants are surprisingly easy-to-care-for.
While mature plants certainly have the wow factor, the smaller foliage on juvenile plants is solid rather than fenestrated. You'll need patience for the payoff if you buy this baby.

Petrea volubilis - Queen's wreath, Sandpaper vine. A twining vine with rough green leaves and spectacular tall clusters of purple flowers. It likes warm and humid conditions. The flowers come in raceme reaching over 1 foot long, the flowers lasts a couple of days but the blue calices remain much longer, slowly turning gray.
