Perfect vine! Blooms year-round, fast growing, easy, not invasive, controllable, not messy, curious bright blue flower - Clitoris-like flower shape, hence name of the plant.
Besides being a great ornamental, this plant has some practical and medicinal value. The seed pods are edible, as well as the flowers. The flowers are used for blue food dye for rice and teas. It is also a nitrogen fixer and helps prevent E-coli.

Cover seeds with 1/4" sandy mix. Needs constant warmth, high humidity, keep damp, in bright light.

Purple Horn-of-Plenty. Very easy to germinate, fast growing. Nice compact plant with fragrant flowers, can be grown indoors.
Cover with 3/8" soil. Keep warm, damp and in bright light.

Hiptage. A woody climbing shrub with clusters of pink to white and yellow fragrant flowers and 3-winged, helicopter-like fruits. Flowers have very interesting shape and look like a decorative accessory, with fluffy-toothed edges. The fragrance is very strong and pleasant, resembles fruity perfume. Used medicinally in India. Blooms profusely from January through March!

Desert Cassia. A small tree with a beautiful cascading habit, covered with showers of yellow flowers. It is suitable for pot culture and bonsai, has tiny leaves. The tree is nearly everblooming, relatively cold-hardy.

Still tree, Yellow oleander, Lucky nut. Small compact tree from tropical America with shiny dark green leaves and yellow to peach or off-white, funnel shaped flowers. Fruit somewhat tri-angular, smooth, with two large, oily seeds. The nuts growing on the tree planted in your yard supposedly bring good luck.
