Shaving Brush Tree - Bonsai Starter, 3 year old very cute looking plant with large caudex. This is one of the best candidates in existence for large bonsai! Although this plant can grow into a giant tree, but it can also be kept contained in a pot: this causes it to grow a massive caudex that resembles a tortoise shell! It is a unique choice for bonsai due to its striking flowers and distinctive trunk. As a bonsai, it features a swollen base (caudex) that gives it a sturdy and aged look, even when young. Huge, brush-like white flowers that look like shaving brushes emerge after winter dormancy, before foliage. It's a beautiful and exotic option for bonsai enthusiasts.

Super rare ginger with strawberry pink flowers. The edible flowers have pleasant, spicy fragrance and flavor. This rare specimen plant is from the collection of Mark Hooten. It has bright coral-like flowers, and finally bloomed for us in January 2025. We will be posting more pictures soon.
Species close related to Burbidgea. Riedelia coralina is so rare that published information about this species and photos are extremely hard to find. Most references to it appear in specialized collector circles rather than in widely available horticultural or botanical literature.

Sansevieria gracilis is very rare and not common n cultivation. It has graceful, tall cylindrical leaves and delightful, intensely sweet scented flowers.

Tree Fuchsia, Bush Boer-bean. Small tree from Africa with pinkish to red flowers. Native to South Africa, this small tree, growing to a maximum height of 10-20 feet, is an excellent choice for a flowering garden tree. Easy maintenance and low water needs make it ideal for gardens in USDA Zones 9-11. It is quite tolerant of both full sun and partial shade, and also moderare water requirement. As an ethnomedicinal plant, it has been used for centuries for various ailments and has been known to attract butterflies and hummingbirds. When planted in a pot, the Bush Boerbean is able to thrive in colder climates.

Golden African tulip tree - rare collectible variety with yellow flowers. Medium size tree. Blooms winter through spring with gorgeous tulip-like flowers. Sensitive to frost when young, but mature plants are more cold hardy.

Carambola variety Fwang Tong (Tung) - Dwarf variety with elongated fruit, 5 inches long, with long wings. Pale yellow skin and flesh. Very sweet and juicy. Flesh is firm with few seeds. Fruit ripe, when wing edges are still green. Eaten fresh, in salads, as garnishes, in drinks or preserved. Mature trees may survive light frost but young trees must be protected from frost and especially - wind. The plant will fruit in container even when in small size (2-3 ft). Season: August - March.
These plants are 2 year old seedlings and may take couple years to fruit.

The young leaves on Syngonium White Butterfly are green with white veins. At maturity, the leaf becomes about 80% white with a green border. It is a prolific grower, will vine in long days and if not grown in enough light. White Butterfly is the standard by which all other Syngoniums are measured.

Variegated tabernaemontana Golden Rain. Small compact bushy shrub, looks similar to tabernaemontana divaricata Flore Pleno (same growth habit), but foliage is variegated. Flowers are fragrant. Nice specimen plant, very hard to find.

Bat Head Lily, Bat Flower, Devil Flower, Black Tacca. Curious, bat-like inflorescence both in shape and color, with wide spreading, wing-like bracts of rich maroon-black, accompanied by long trailing filaments or "whiskers".

Plants may be in bloom at the time of purchase. Because flowers can be delicate and may not travel well, blooms are removed before shipping. Plants are well established and, with proper care, will bloom again soon.
