Tecomaria Mango - Bright Orange Sunset

Large shrub 5-10 ftVine or creeperFull sunSemi-shadeRegular waterYellow/orange flowersAttracts butterflies, hummingbirdsSeaside, salt tolerant plant

This variety commonly has been called "Salmon" but it fact it is bright orange. We changed the name to avoid confusion with another variety "Apricot" (item 5973) that is closer to salmon color.
One of the most rewarding flowering plants! Stunning display of orange flowers year round, from winter through spring and summer. Unlike other tecomarias, it is more of an upright shrub with naturally compact shape and doesn't shoot long leggy branches. You don't have to prune it, it keeps naturally rounded, bushy shape. Attracts butterflies.
It's an eye catching flower that appears all year round!

This tree yields smallish, ribbed and nut-like fruits which are picked when still green and then pickled, boiled with a little added sugar in their own syrup or used in preserves. The seed of the fruit, which has an elliptical shape, is an abrasive seed enveloped by a fleshy and firm pulp. It is regarded as a universal panacea in Ayurveda and in the traditional Tibetan medicine. Terminalia chebula is called the "king of medicines" in Tibet and is one of the prime Ayurvedic herbs from India because of its extraordinary healing powers. This fruit is best known for its health benefits within the digestive system, improves memory, helps with urinary stones and nervous irritability. According to Ayurveda, in combination with Emblica officinalis (Amla), it may help lower cholesterol and prevent the death of heart tissue.

Bread Flower. One of the most impressive tropical vines that is very popular in Thailand and other South-East Asia countries. Moderate growth woody climber with clusters of freshly-baked-bread fragrant white flowers, it is easy to care and tolerates wide range of conditions. It can be trained as a compact bush and is good for container culture. Attracts butterflies and hummingbirds.
This plant is relatively cold hardy according to our experience. Mild frost doesn't do any damage to it, even large tropical leaves stay glossy green and healthy. It is very vigorous grower that can create nice privacy hedge or cover a large fence.

Large shrub 5-10 ftSmall tree 10-20 ftFull sunSemi-shadeRegular waterOrnamental foliageYellow/orange flowersSubtropical, cold hardy at least to 30s F for a short time

Wercklea ferox is a stunning rare shrub in the Hibiscus family originally from Costa Rica. A gem for tropical plant collector! This plant gets huge, up to 24" across green round leaves with gorgeous red veins. Red color seems more visible on the underside of the leaves. This plant starts by forming red buds, only to pop out a yellow delicate Hibiscus-like flower. They are quite pretty as well but often hidden from the beautiful large leaves. You can see them during the warmer months. This plant can be grown in full sun to bright filtered light. It takes a bit of room to grow and makes a captivating focal point in the garden, and it is a conversation piece between gardeners since it is so rare and not often seen. It is a rare plant for collectors who value the exotic. If it overgrows its given space, it can be pruned back to its original form and it will regrow quickly.
