Can be used for bonsaiSmall shrub 2-5 ftFull sunModerate waterPink flowersSubtropical, cold hardy at least to 30s F for a short time

A new cultivar of Dwarf Bougainvillea pixie with lemon-yellow variegation.
It is a dwarf form of thornless Bougainvillea with extremely slow growth rate. These showy evergreen dwarf beauties have numerous bright colorful bracts growing in an upright habit. This plant flowers in a small as a 4" pot and is great for landscapes and patio containers. It has a shape of natural bonsai, and leaves are smaller. Bright flowers are born in dense clusters. 3-4 y.o. plants can stay only 3-4 ft and look like natural bonsai trees. They stay compact, perfectly round and dense shape, don't require pruning, making a must-have for any garden, especially for the small spaces in your yard.

Peanut Butter Tree. One of the most fascinating exotic fruit, as amazing as Miracle fruit, Peanut Butter Fruit is loved by both kids and adults. Yes, it tastes exactly like peanut butter! Sweet, soft pulp with peanut flavor. The tree is small in size, grows 10-15 ft max, or can be kept as a bush. Starts fruiting within 2-3 years from seed! Keep it in a pot if you have limited space, can be grown indoors, too.
This attractive tree has clusters of yellow flowers that are followed by an abundance of dark red fruit. The rich, sweet flesh has a texture similar to peanut butter. The fruit can be eaten fresh or made into milk shakes. Very rare in cultivation.

Burbidgea schizocheila - Voodoo Flame Ginger

Small shrub 2-5 ftSemi-shadeEpiphyteRegular waterModerate waterYellow/orange flowers

A dwarf ginger that is hard to find, but well worth it. Intermittently throughout the year, bright golden-orange cones will appear above the glossy dark green, maroon-backed leaves. Individual flowers will open and last for a period of about two weeks during each bloom cycle. Has a very upright growth habit. An excellent indoor plant, it should be kept out of direct sunlight as this will scorch the leaves, and should be kept in a container even outdoors, as they are very cold-tender and must be brought inside in the fall. When repotting, take care that only the roots are burried in the soil or potting medium, as it is a bit of an epiphyte (air plant) and the rhyzome must remain above ground level.

Dwarf Red Jade vine. If you always wanted to own THE Red Jade Vine, here is your chance! Also called Cuitelo, Crista-De-Galo (Rooster's Crest), it is sometimes miss-identified as a Mucuna species. This amazing eye-catcher is closely related to Red Jade Vine, however, it is much hardier than the ultra-tropical Mucuna benettii! It is a spectacular fast-growing vine from Brazil with long pendulous chains of fiery bright red flowers. Heavy vine, it needs large trellis or pagoda. An arbor is ideal so that the brilliant flowering racemes can hang down from the ceiling. Blooms in fall and winter. Prune heavily in spring after flowering. Give full or partial sun with adequate moisture and fertilizer. It is very easy to grow, can tolerate some drought and light frost.

Capsicum chinense - Gold Carolina Reaper Pepper

Small shrub 2-5 ftFull sunSemi-shadeRegular waterWhite/off-white flowersIrritatingSpice or herb

Our distinct variety originated from a batch of seeds of the regular red fruited 'Carolina Reaper' (received directly from the breeder), the larger better rarer form of what's currently classified as the world's HOTTEST chili. Out of the regular red fruited seedlings grew a plant producing truly brilliant orange-gold colored fruits. As this plant was much more healthy, vigorous, and productive than the normal red ones, (even producing considerably larger fruits and just as searingly hot), we segregated and isolated that one. Seeds from that specimen were then grown out to see the result, which, happily all came out exactly identical to and as vigorous as the original gold parent. Our plants have been grown from those.
The Carolina Reaper is a cultivar of the Capsicum chinense plant. In 2013, Guinness World Records declared it the hottest chili pepper in the world, surpassing the previous record holder, the Trinidad Scorpion "Butch T".
Capsicum chinense and its varieties have been used for centuries in Yucatan and Caribbean-style cooking to add a significant amount of heat to their traditional food.

Wiri Wiri Pepper. A variety from Guyana, the Wiri Wiri pepper is the illustrious gem; hard sought and rarely found. This plant produces good yields of small 1/2" berry shaped hot peppers. Peppers grow upright, are very hot, and turn from green, to orange, to red when mature.
What makes it so much different than any other hot pepper grown in the garden or bought at the store?
Hot? Yes, it is important that hot peppers are, but the people who really know, know that it is not just about heat, it is about flavor! And that is exactly what makes this little red gem so special. Guyanese dinners will only take one of those meals for you to never forget! The secret of their food is the flavor, and one of the cornerstone ingredients in many of their dishes is the Wiri pepper. The Guyanese population claim that it is not just a key ingredient to their diet, but also to why they are so good looking, live so long, and have such great skin.

Absolutely NEW perfume plant that nobody has yet! This amazing flower was recommended to us by our friend horticulturist John Mood, he discovered it in Thailand. We finally have the plants, and yes, they bloomed and fragrance is amazing! This Cerbera hybrid has beautiful striped red-and-white flowers that are highly fragrant. Fragrance is the most intense you can imagine and is much better than all jasmines and gardenias all together. The plant is very similar to plumeria in growth habit. Beautiful mauve colored leaves are very ornamental. We believe that this plant will become one of the most wanted in rare plants market.

Can be used for bonsaiBig tree > 20 ftSmall tree 10-20 ftFull sunRegular waterModerate waterWhite/off-white flowersYellow/orange flowersDeciduousThorny or spinySubtropical, cold hardy at least to 30s F for a short time

This is a new variety of Ceiba with very showy, large golden flowers with red centers.
This Ceiba is a seedling that was grown from a batch of seed collected from Willis Harding Park in North Miami. There are many varieties of Ceiba there but 98 percent of them are pink. There are two trees there with white/yellow flowers and that is Ceiba Sunset and another called Ceiba Rhodognaphalon which has had a lot of controversy over the name and is suspected to actually be a Ceiba chodatii. The two trees are close together so the cross pollination of the two is what produced this hybrid. They were naturally pollinated by bees or other pollinators (just not hand pollinated).
The hybrid is grafted
What is grafted plant

Q: What is a grafted plant?

Grafting is a method of vegetative (or asexual) propagation where a piece of one plant (scion) selected for its flowers or fruit and containing the desired genes to be duplicated is inserted into a piece of another plant (rootstock), with a strong vigorous root system, usually a seedling.

Benefits of the graft:

  • making a clone of the parent plant ensures the same cultivar, since most fruit trees will not come true to seed
  • taking a scion from a mature plant reduces time to flowering and fruiting (from 10-12 years for a seedling to 2-3 years or less for a grafted plant)
  • introducing dwarfing, hardiness, disease and pest resistance.
  • easier propagation method when other means like cutting or seed is not successful
