Broad Leaf Plus is a perfect plant food for all your broad leaf tropicals: Heliconias, Gingers, Bananas, Cannas, Calatheas, Curcumas and more! Its water-soluble, perfectly balanced formula supports lush, healthy leaves, vigorous growth of roots and rhizomes, and reliable production of large flowers and fruit. Great for traditional house plants as a general purpose food.
DIRECTIONS: Mix 1 teaspoon per 1 gal of water. Apply at once a month, during the growing season (when night temperature is above 65F), or as needed for growth boosting. Spray over foliage (foliar spray) and drench the soil around the root ball.

Pine cone ginger, Shampoo Ginger. All parts of this ginger are spicy fragrant. The cone shaped flowers are long lasting and useful for cut flower arrangements. This plant is most widely known around the world as the Shampoo Ginger for the milky substance in the cones, and it is in fact used as a shampoo in Asia and Hawaii, and as an ingredient in several commercial shampoos.
Pinecone ginger is considered a canoe plant, that is, a plant introduced throughout the Pacific by the ancient Polynesian settlers.
