VERY RARE! Fragrant ixora - amazing rare plant with highly fragrant pinkish-white flowers.
Almost all ixoras do best in acid soil, free from nematodes, a moist organic mix that is also well drained. Ixora can endure some salt spray on the wind. A common problem is our alkaline soils, especially near concrete and pools, causing poor health, poor foliage and poor blooming.

Dwarf White Jasmine. This dwarf, slow growing jasmine has leaves very similar to J. parkeri but they are a bit bigger. They start as bright green when young, then turn darker with age. Flowers are pure white, sweetly fragrant. The create dramatic contrast with dark leaves. Jasmine Mini can be shaped as bonsai or a small compact container specimen. This requires minimal pruning. If left untrimmed, the plant may grow longer vining branches, but even in this case it can be treated as a Dwarf grower and will need only a small trellis. Blooms in summer. This is a perfect small plant for fragrant plant collectors who got to the point of lack of space! Great for containers.

Jasmine sambac Grand Duke - The biggest flower variety, the Grandest of all Jasminum sambac. Flowers are 1-1.5 inch wide, triple, like little carnations. Blooms profusely from April through June, then sporadically during the year. Dark green leaves are very ornamental. This variety grows as a medium size bush, very slow growing. Trim regularly otherwise it may become leggy. Tolerates shade, great container plant, can be grown as indoor plant too, providing enough light. The more light, the more flowers you will get. Keep somewhat on dry side: sambacs don't like too much water and bloom better in dry conditions. If grown indoors, watch for insects (spider mites). Fertilize once a month during warm season.
