Grimal Jaboticaba - Peluda de Alagoas. Rare Jaboticaba introduced by Adolf Grimal. Sometimes known as the Giant Jaboticaba, it bears fruits that are larger than many Jaboticaba varieties. Has larger fruits with thick pulp and small seeds. Also notable that the fruits are mildly hairy and foliage may show a similar appearance. The trees are heavy producers, and will begin fruiting in 5 years. The tree fruits year round producing a lot of fruit.

Black Gold Jakfruit originated in Australia. The tree is vigorous and with regular pruning can be maintained at a height of 8-10 ft. The fruit is has narrow shape, weighting 14-20 lb. It has dark green color with sharp fleshy spines, which don't flatten upon maturity. The deep orange flesh is very soft, with strong flavor and aroma. The flesh easily removed from the fruit comparing to other cultivars. Fruit ripen in Fall in Florida.

Jackfruit (Jakfruit) Gold Nugget - sweet aromatic variety with bright golden color. This variety was selected in Australia. The tree is fast growing with dense, spreading canopy. It can be easily pruned to maintain small tree around 8 ft tall. The fruit are about 10 lb, greenish-yellow and rounded. The flesh is excellent and has no fiber, soft to medium firm depending on ripeness.

Golden Pillow (Mong Tong) Jackfruit (Jakfruit) originated in Thailand. Considered one of the best Thai cultivars. The tree is small and easy manageable at a height of 8-10 ft. The fruit has blocky shape, weighting 8-10 lb. It has golden color with fleshy spines, which flatten and open as fruit matures. The golden color flesh is thick and crunchy. The flavor is mild and sweet with musky aftertaste.

HONEY GOLD: Can be maintained to small tree with pruning. Yellow to orange flesh, with a sweet, rich flavor. The fruit as basketball sized round when ripe and it fruits on the many limbs instead of just the leader. Compatible in texture and flavor to the Gold Nugget with a dwarf growth habit and fruit. Jackfruit J-31. Open, spreading, fast growth habit. Often off-season fruit; tree easily pruned to maintain small tree (~8 ft). Deep yellow fruit that is firm. Sweet rich flavor, earthy aroma. Fruit rarely splits and has excellent texture.

Jackfruit (Jakfruit) Lemon Crunch. It is relatively low latex, but not latex free. Crispy but not too crunchy, thick fleshed and very juicy. The flavor has a nice sweet and lemony character. Will fruit in 2-3 years in optimal conditions.

Jackfruit Orange Crush has a dark orange, extra crunchy flesh, with a nice clean green skin, and low latex. Typically weighs about 20lbs.

Thai Globe (Kun Wi Chan) jakfruit (jackfruit) originated in Thailand.
Vigorous tree; annual pruning needed to maintain moderate size. The tree is a very heavy producer. Fruits are very large and have round shape. Fruit weight is 35-45lb. Moderately firm to soft yellow flesh has mild, pleasant flavor.

Italian jasmine. Jasmine oil is extracted from the flowers and is imported from India. It has a rich, warm, sweet scent. It is a middle note in perfumery. Hardy to Zone 8.

Japanese Jasmine, Primrose Jasmine - very unusual jasmine with bright yellow double flowers. This is one of the most valuable plants in landscaping. It grows wonderfully in mass plantings, very fast growing, well-contollable by pruning. The more you cut it, the bushier it gets, forming a nice dense cloud of dark green foliage with yellow double flowers scattered like a bright cover. Use it mass plantings, as a small hedge or to trail over fences or walls, to cover unwanted views and ugly corners.

Star Jasmine, very easy to grow, fast growing. Glossy, green foliage giving it a tropical effect. It is also grown for its intensely fragrant white flowers. They are up to 2 inch wide, with very strong scent. The vine can be grown on a trellis, fence, or planted in a container. Blooms from April to September.

Jasmine sambac Grand Duke - The biggest flower variety, the Grandest of all Jasminum sambac. Flowers are 1-1.5 inch wide, triple, like little carnations. Blooms profusely from April through June, then sporadically during the year. Dark green leaves are very ornamental. This variety grows as a medium size bush, very slow growing. Trim regularly otherwise it may become leggy. Tolerates shade, great container plant, can be grown as indoor plant too, providing enough light. The more light, the more flowers you will get. Keep somewhat on dry side: sambacs don't like too much water and bloom better in dry conditions. If grown indoors, watch for insects (spider mites). Fertilize once a month during warm season.
