I thought mine was the only one without scent!

Its been growing fine for about 3 years now and is beginning to get to a fair size, but it has always lacked any fragrance which was the very reason I purchased it.

It's a beautiful plant, and I would recommend it for that, but if fragrance is what you desire, it may leave you unimpressed. I hope with growth that will change.

This tree is awesome, purchased in top tropicals, after two months the tree is in full bloom, Really sweet fragrance, the temperature must be hot and humid to really enjoy this flower fragrance, A must for a garden collection, very easy maintenance, just keep watching the tree for aphids and scales

my tree is taking well, bought it 2 years ago but the flowers have no smell, only a little when you go too close. Is there any reason why ?

I got a very healthy plant from toptropicals, and it bloomed the first season. But unfortunately, there is absolutely no fragrance. Any ideas, why?

I'm very satisfied with the plant I received. Big (about 24 inchs) & healthy. Can't wait to see and smell the flowers this Summer :-)

Bought it at a local nursey and I do not have to really fertilise or water much.Plenty of natural sunshine and rain takes care of my plant.I fertilise once a year with slow release general fertiliser. It is slow growing plant and very ornamental.Always loaded with bell shaped flower clusters that smell good when you go close to them. Flowers are an attractive cluster of light pink with orangish yellow throat, delicate and look like pink Tabebuia/Trumpet flower. They last a long time on plant.
Ants love to sit in the flower for its nectar.Leaves started turning yellow during draught in florida and I think plant does not like very windy weather either.
I would like to know how to propogate this plant.Flowers fall off and leaves a cluster of small branches that are dry, brown and take a while to fall off-No seeds.
