Shrub to 5 ft with bright-pink , sar-shaped flowers in clusters. Blooms November through early summer with scattered blooms the rest of the year. Cultivated in the southern US, the flowers attract butterflies with nectar when little else is in bloom. The Panama rose has an added bonus for those who sit in the garden in the evening. The flowers are sweetly fragrant, especially after sunset.
