This hibiscus has attractive maple shaped foliage that is either dark red or green. Leaves that are edible, acid, good for salads, and a good source of vitamin C. It forms an upright bush, but blooms late in the season. Flower is very similar to Hibiscus cannabinus.

African Cranberry Hibiscus. This fast growing bush is covered with beautiful dark red flowers several times a year. Leaves are edible, acid, rich of vitamin C, good for salads. Very similar to Hibiscus furcellatus.
